Our practical experience comes from our participation in:
- First plant modification experiments in Argentina
- First experiments with molecular marker-assisted selection
- GMO detection services carried out over first biotech trials the in Argentina
- The start of a Seed Genetic Purity laboratory under ISO certification
- Several registrations of varieties and hybrids (property and commerce registration)
- Local registration of new crops for international companies
- Development and launching of Assurance and Quality Control systems in labs and hybrid production fields
- Production of several dossiers for commercial approval of main GMO traits in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile
Our close relationship with Regulatory Affairs actors in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile permits to provide support and follow up of development strategies of large multinational companies, also to provide advice and/or manage regulatory and legal processes to get the approval of GMO trials (Phase I) and the commercial approval (Phase II).
We also design proof of concept (POC) tests for new traits, carry out tests to select the best traits, make regulated trials for commercial approval and monitor the approval process at public agencies. We monitor the status of gene patents, elaborate quality control plans for GMO seed production, advice on the fulfilment of ETS regulation, ISO regulations 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in seed production area.
We also work with some customers in the development of new GMOs, from laboratory stage up to their commercial approval.
